INTRODUCING OUR ADAPTIVE DANCE INSTRUCTOR

Kayla M. grew up in Stoughton and began dancing at age four, training in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, contemporary, pointe, and creative movement. She competed in dance competitions from age 10 until graduating in 2017.

In 2020, Kayla earned her Bachelor’s degree in Youth Development and Education from Plymouth State University, where she was active in the Dance Department and attended multiple American College Dance Association conferences.

Her passion for working with children led her to complete her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling with a focus on Dance Movement Therapy at Lesley University in 2024. Now a Registered Dance Movement Therapist, Kayla is dedicated to bringing Dance Movement Therapy to studios and schools across New England to help children express themselves through movement.

We are so excited to have Kayla helping us start our Adaptive Dance Program here at Dance Elite Dance Center in Stoughton!
